Attorney Maynard is a native of Ware, Massachusetts. He is also a graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and New England Law in Boston, Massachusetts.

As a former prosecutor with the Worcester District Attorney's Office, Richard H. Maynard was responsible for both felony and misdemeanor cases. He also performs real estate closings in the counties of Hampshire, Hampden, Franklin, and Worcester.

Attorney Maynard is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association and the Hampshire County Bar Association. Richard H. Maynard is also very active in the local community and is on the Board at the Randall Boys and Girls Club and is actively involved in youth sports.
